About

My name is Sarab Saraswati Khalsa, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Arizona, offering individual and group telehealth sessions to adults seeking support and healing. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Fort Lewis College and went on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling here in Arizona.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with and supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health needs, but I feel especially connected to helping adults navigating the heavy burden of trauma, PTSD or C-PTSD. We all deserve to live our best lives as the best versions of ourselves. I’m passionate in helping clients achieve this, whether it means working through childhood traumas, sexual or physical or verbal abuse, relationship trauma, or other distressing life experiences. Trauma is not simple and therapy often also includes working through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, communication challenges, poor boundaries and anger (unhealthy anger or an inability to express or feel anger).

My approach is warm, semi structured, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, where you feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. I also do not want your therapy sessions to be a source of stress, but rather a safe place to release your trauma and find moments of relief and peace that eventually lead to a healed brain and nervous system. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs, including EMDR, inner child work, DBT, mindfulness, CBT, strengths-based therapy, somatic processing, expressive arts, and traditional talk therapy. I’ve found that therapy works best when it’s flexible and creative, using a blend of techniques that resonate with you. If you’re not sure what type of therapy is right for you, that’s okay and normal. We’ll figure it out together, at your own pace. I strive to find the balance between providing guidance, structure, and that push we all need to make a change, with flexibility to go with whatever is needed.

I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, develop insight, and build practical tools for daily life. Whether you’re starting therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I’m here to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and a more empowered future.

I look forward to connecting with you and being part of your journey toward a better tomorrow.
